About the Role

You will own the entire engineering organization including blockchain infrastructure, smart contract development, mobile (iOS/Android), web, and backend systems. You will define and execute the technical roadmap, architect a hybrid CLOB+RFQ market structure, design protocol-level infrastructure, and own integration architecture. You will build and scale a high-performance engineering team, establish engineering processes that enable extreme velocity while maintaining code quality and security, manage a globally distributed team, drive core technical workstreams (trading infrastructure, tokenization and RWA, blockchain and protocol, consumer app), and present technical strategy and business cases to executive leadership.

Requirements

• 12+ years in engineering with at least 5 years in VP, CTO, or Head of Engineering roles at high-growth companies
• Experience building or leading trading systems including perpetuals, spot trading, order matching, or derivatives infrastructure and understanding of order books, margin systems, liquidations, and risk engines
• Hands-on experience with EVM-based smart contracts, Solidity, DeFi protocols, and onchain infrastructure
• Experience shipping mobile-first consumer apps at scale (React Native or native iOS/Android)
• Proven cross-functional engineering leadership across blockchain, backend, and mobile teams
• Familiarity with sports betting or prediction markets (vig, odds, early exit) is preferred

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the technical roadmap for the mobile-first trading platform
• Architect the hybrid CLOB and RFQ market structure
• Design protocol-level infrastructure decisions
• Own integration architecture with Crypto.com's infrastructure
• Build, scale, and retain high-performance engineering teams across blockchain, smart contracts, mobile, and backend
• Establish engineering culture rooted in accountability, velocity, and technical excellence
• Implement engineering processes that enable extreme velocity while maintaining code quality and security
• Manage a globally distributed engineering team across APAC, EU, and US
• Drive the trading infrastructure workstream
• Drive the tokenization and RWA workstream
• Drive the blockchain and protocol workstream
• Drive the consumer app workstream
• Partner with product to align engineering and product
• Present technical strategy and progress to executive leadership
• Build business cases for engineering investments
