About the Role
You will own the entire engineering organization and define the technical architecture for a mobile-first trading platform. You will design protocol and integration decisions, architect trading and tokenization infrastructure, drive core workstreams across blockchain, smart contracts, mobile and backend, and ensure secure, high-velocity delivery. You will recruit, scale and manage a globally distributed engineering organization, implement engineering processes, and present technical strategy and investment rationale to executive leadership.
Requirements
- 12+ years in engineering with at least 5 years in VP, CTO, or Head of Engineering roles
- Experience building or leading trading systems including perpetuals, spot trading, order matching, and derivatives infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with EVM smart contracts, Solidity, DeFi protocols, and onchain infrastructure
- Proven experience shipping mobile-first consumer apps at scale (React Native or native iOS/Android)
- Demonstrated cross-functional engineering leadership across blockchain, backend, and mobile disciplines
- Familiarity with sports betting or prediction market infrastructure
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technical roadmap for the mobile-first trading platform
- Architect the hybrid CLOB and RFQ market structure
- Design protocol-level infrastructure and integration architecture
- Own integration with external infrastructure (Crypto.com)
- Build, scale, and retain high-performance engineering teams across blockchain, smart contracts, mobile and backend
- Establish engineering culture and implement processes for velocity, code quality and security
- Manage a globally distributed engineering organization across multiple time zones
- Drive core technical workstreams including trading infrastructure, tokenization and RWA, blockchain and protocol, and consumer app
- Present technical strategy to executive leadership and build business cases for engineering investments
