About the Role
Act as the CEO's right hand, managing business development and operational processes in a fast-moving startup. The role includes fundraising leadership, investor negotiations, strategic planning, partnerships, project operations, token management, compliance, community engagement, and financial management. This is a remote fixed-contract position with no office provided; visa sponsorship and relocation assistance are unavailable.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technology business development or supporting operations
- Experience in early-stage or growth-stage startups, including at least 3 years in relevant crypto, AI, fintech, gaming, gambling, or forex environments
- Extensive investment-community network
- Charismatic and strong communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to close investor and customer deals
- Effective use of AI tools such as Copilot and GPT for CRM
- Passion for crypto, AI, and emerging technologies
- Strong crisis-management skills
- Perfect English; additional major global languages are a plus
- Experience working in a non-corporate environment
Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate relationships with venture capitalists, family offices, and investment syndicates
- Create and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy
- Lead negotiations with potential investors
- Drive fundraising through completion and close the targeted $5m Seed Round
- Develop strategic plans aligned with web3 technology trends
- Make decisions on partnerships, acquisitions, and resource allocation
- Oversee technology development, token management, compliance, and project operations
- Collaborate with technical teams to align project goals
- Monitor web3 trends and provide strategic recommendations
- Identify opportunities to improve competitive positioning
- Manage relationships with investors, partners, and stakeholders
- Engage with the crypto community and provide project updates
- Use social media, blogs, and events to drive business development
- Develop budgets, financial forecasts, and financial sustainability strategies
