PrivateAI is an AI protocol to store, process, validate and sell your data assets. It generates datasets from unstructured data, using semantic models to ensure they are machine learning ready. The PrivateAI ecosystem includes knowledge graphs for data visualization, a data marketplace for buying and selling proprietary data, and a peer-to-peer environment for researchers to share insights. It also features a platform for knowledge-intensive crowdsourcing with a dynamic reward system. The native token, $PGPT, represents the value of datasets and is used for payments and contributions. The platform is built on a privacy-by-design methodology, utilizing Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE), Confidential Machine Learning (ConfML), and a Tendermint-based consensus to ensure data security and privacy. Use cases span across data analytics, research labs, GenAI companies, healthcare, and predictive modeling.

About the Role
You will act as the right hand of the CEO, managing multiple business development and operational processes from start to finish in a fast-moving, early-stage startup environment. You'll be expected to be a self-starter who thrives amid chaotic, unpredictable, and non-linear challenges. In the first few months, you'll also take on responsibilities typically handled by a Head of Business Development and a Head of Fundraising. This is a remote, fixed-contract position with no office provided, and the company operates off-shore. Please note that visa sponsorship and relocation assistance are not offered.
Requirements
- 5+ years of real experience in tech business development (tech sales, presales marketing, fundraising) or operations supporting these activities
- Mandatory experience in early-stage or growth-stage startups, minimum 3 years in crypto, AI, fintech, gaming, gambling or forex
- Extensive network within the investment community
- Charismatic communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to close deals with investors and paying customers
- Intelligent use of auxiliary AI tools like Copilot, GPT for CRM purposes and keeping track of clients
- Strong passion about new technologies, particularly crypto and AI
- Strong communication skills
- Strong crisis management skills
- Perfect English required
- Working or native knowledge of other major global languages is a plus
- Experience working with a team in a non-corporate environment
Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate relationships with venture capitalists, family offices, and investment syndicates
- Create and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy tailored to the company's objectives
- Lead negotiations with potential investors
- Drive the fundraising process from initiation to completion, closing the Seed Round within the targeted $5m
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan aligned with web3 technology trends
- Make strategic decisions on partnerships, acquisitions, and resource allocation
- Oversee all facets of project operations including technology development, token management, and compliance
- Collaborate regularly with technical teams to ensure alignment with project goals
- Stay abreast of trends and developments in the web3 space and provide insights and recommendations
- Identify opportunities and technologies to enhance competitive positioning
- Cultivate and sustain relationships with investors, partners, and stakeholders
- Engage with the crypto community by addressing inquiries and providing updates
- Leverage social media, blogs, and events to drive business development opportunities
- Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and strategies for financial health and sustainability
