About the Role

You will operate, monitor, and maintain automated adapters and supporting equipment. You will use HMI screens and PLC status information, perform equipment checks and basic maintenance, prepare materials, respond to system alerts, recover robotic vehicles, document concerns, and follow safety and 5S standards.

Requirements

• Technical training or equivalent work experience with automated equipment preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in production automation or warehouse environments
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Proficiency in cleaning, lubrication, and tolerance-checking maintenance tasks
• Ability to prioritize tasks to maximize uptime and throughput
• Ability to work independently using procedures, manuals, and operational documentation
• Ability to troubleshoot minor system issues
• Ability to meet physical and safety requirements

Responsibilities

• Use HMI screens, system dashboards, and PLC status information to identify equipment conditions
• Monitor automated equipment and system performance
• Perform pre-operational equipment checks
• Prepare pallets and materials for induction into the automated system
• Respond to equipment stoppages and system alerts using established recovery procedures
• Follow safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout
• Support system uptime through suspect removal, equipment recovery, and basic troubleshooting
• Identify, document, and escalate equipment, system, and safety concerns
• Communicate production-impacting issues to operations and site leadership
• Perform routine cleaning, inspection, and housekeeping
• Assist Automation Technicians with troubleshooting and system recovery
• Recover robotic vehicles within the automation structure
• Maintain an organized work area following 5S standards
