About the Role

You will operate automated adapters and use HMI terminals to maintain system readiness and throughput. You will complete pre-production checks, prepare pallets, recover equipment and robots, inspect and maintain components, troubleshoot stoppages, and communicate production issues to operational leadership.

Requirements

• Associate degree, equivalent experience, or certification in electronics, automotive, automation, manufacturing, or a related field preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience with mechanical automation systems or equivalent education or training
• Proficiency in system inspection functions including cleaning, lubrication, tolerance checking, current measurements, and electrical-system checks
• Ability to prioritize work for maximum uptime and throughput
• Ability to work safely
• Ability to work independently using procedures and manuals
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to meet physical and safety requirements

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-production checks on automated adapters
• Process and monitor automated storage and retrieval system flow
• Prepare pallets for induction into the storage and retrieval system
• Assess system stoppages and return equipment to service using HMI terminals and manual intervention
• Communicate and escalate production issues to operational leadership
• Support system uptime through preservation, robot recovery, suspect removal, and bot health actions
• Perform system inspections, cleaning, lubrication, tolerance checks, and component validation
• Report out-of-spec conditions and perform root-cause corrective actions
• Use radio etiquette while obtaining instructions from leadership
• Perform rover bot upkeep
• Recover automated robotic vehicles within the automation structure
