About the Role

You will oversee agent-network acquisition and operations across your assigned region. You will coordinate agent openers, contracting, training, liquidity monitoring, performance reviews, offboarding, customer-service standards, and compliance with internal and regulatory requirements. You will serve as the main contact for agent acquisition and Wave products while managing field activities and regional results.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing a large regional agent network in mobile money, finance, fintech, telecom, or technology in the Democratic Republic of the Congo
  • At least 2 years of experience leading and managing field teams
  • Proven stakeholder-management experience through strategic monitoring and reporting
  • Fluency in English and French
  • Willingness to travel up to 90% of the time within the Democratic Republic of the Congo
  • Work authorization in the Democratic Republic of the Congo

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Agent Openers to identify areas for new agents and acquire agents under selection guidelines
  • Ensure agents are recruited, contracted, and trained in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure agents complete product, procedure, KYC, and AML/CFT training and certification
  • Coordinate delivery of supplies and point-of-sale branding
  • Monitor cash and e-value availability at agent locations with liquidity and network-quality teams
  • Guide teams in monitoring agent performance, emerging issues, and regional results
  • Coordinate agent offboarding, equipment retrieval, and brand-signage removal
  • Serve as the primary contact for agent network acquisition and products in the region
  • Ensure operational excellence, cost control, policy compliance, and regulatory compliance
  • Promote customer-service excellence and service-quality standards
