About the Role
You will lead end-to-end deployment of compute capacity across partner-operated data centers. You will validate site readiness, oversee rack delivery, integration, power-on, network turn-up, burn-in, and acceptance, and hand completed capacity units to production operations. You will set execution standards, manage partners, report risks, and turn deployment lessons into repeatable program improvements.
Requirements
- 8+ years of data center operations or hardware deployment experience
- Experience leading large-scale compute or network hardware deployments across multiple sites
- Experience managing vendors, OEMs, or contract workforces
- Hands-on knowledge of server, network, and rack-level hardware
- Experience improving operational processes
- Ability to use schedule, ticket, and telemetry data
- Ability to travel heavily and work on site for extended periods
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
Responsibilities
- Own deployment outcomes for assigned sites and data-hall waves
- Confirm deployment readiness before each wave
- Verify delivery, deployment, QA, and close-out activities on site
- Set daily priorities and quality gates with site leadership
- Validate capacity-unit and data-hall handover requirements
- Turn deployment lessons into procedures, checklists, standards, and metrics
- Extend deployment standards to new sites and platforms
- Communicate deployment status, dependencies, constraints, and risks
