About the Role
You will independently design and implement backend projects with strategic guidance. You will design scalable, reliable, and maintainable Python and C++ systems, clarify data flows, build event-driven and messaging-based architectures, integrate services with robotic workflows, and raise engineering standards through knowledge sharing and code reviews.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend or distributed systems engineering experience
- Strong Python programming experience
- Proficiency in C++ or another strongly typed language such as Rust, Go, or Java
- Understanding of software architecture, concurrency, and distributed system design
- Experience with event-driven systems, messaging frameworks, or service-oriented architectures
- Ability to work independently and communicate clearly
Responsibilities
- Own the design and implementation of backend projects
- Understand how data flows through the system
- Design architectural solutions and scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems
- Build and maintain event-driven, messaging-based architectures
- Integrate backend systems with real-world robotic workflows
- Share knowledge and elevate engineering standards through code reviews and technical discussions
