Required and preferred rules are kept separate and reflect the wording in the original posting.

About the Role

You will design modular, concurrent, and distributed systems for perception, planning, and execution. You will develop real-time robotic welding features with automated testing, integrate computer vision, motion planning, and control systems with industrial robots, and debug complex motion-control and perception issues. You will conduct code reviews and write unit and integration tests.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
  • 1–2 years of production robotics or C++ systems experience with real-world deployment, or equivalent experience
  • C++ proficiency
  • Experience with ROS2
  • Experience with CMake, colcon workspaces, and dependency management
  • Multithreading and concurrency skills for thread-safe, real-time, deterministic systems
  • Proficiency with Git, CI/CD, and containerized deployments using Docker

Responsibilities

  • Design modular, concurrent, and distributed systems for perception, planning, and execution
  • Develop robotic welding features with automated testing for real-time deterministic behavior
  • Integrate computer vision, motion planning, and control systems with industrial robots
  • Debug issues across real-time motion control, perception pipelines, and multi-package integration
  • Conduct code reviews
  • Write unit and integration tests

Benefits

  • Daily free lunch
  • Flexible PTO
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 6 weeks of fully paid parental leave, plus an additional 6–8 weeks for birthing parents
  • 401(k) retirement plan through Empower
