About the Role
You will own the technical delivery of live and hybrid events from intake through follow-up. You will operate production systems, create run-of-show plans, direct technicians, scope staffing and equipment, maintain event spaces and inventory, and document repeatable operational standards.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on AV operations, live event production, or technical event support experience
- Experience owning the technical side of live productions end-to-end
- Fluency with event audio, video, camera, and streaming systems
- Ability to diagnose technical problems
- Experience creating repeatable event systems and standards
Responsibilities
- Own technical execution of live and hybrid events
- Serve as technical director for executive presentations and company-wide broadcasts
- Operate video switchers, audio consoles, camera systems, playback, and streaming encoders
- Build technical run-of-show plans, cue sheets, rehearsal schedules, and backup plans
- Direct contractors and onsite technicians during productions
- Troubleshoot and escalate production issues
- Own event technology intake, technical scoping, and staffing
- Maintain the event technology calendar and coordinate coverage
- Execute preventative maintenance and room sweeps
- Maintain equipment inventory and contribute to operational documentation
