About the Role
You will build factory automation systems from custom and off-the-shelf parts, commission and test equipment, coordinate system shipments, resolve assembly design issues, and maintain an orderly, safe workshop.
Requirements
- Interpret 3D CAD assemblies and build directly from them
- Have familiarity with Fusion 360 or another leading CAD system
- Build mechatronic assemblies from 3D CAD
- Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting
- Work safely in a workshop environment
Responsibilities
- Build full automation systems from custom and off-the-shelf parts
- Commission and test automation systems
- Liaise with logistics partners on system shipments
- Feed design issues back to the design team and make design changes
- Complete general workshop tasks, including tidying, stocking consumables and cleaning machinery
