About the Role

You will inspect, repair, calibrate, modify, and maintain automated storage and retrieval systems, robotic vehicles, adapters, lifts, and robotic arms. You will troubleshoot equipment, document maintenance work in CMMS, support system recovery, perform minor utility work, and follow safety and 5S procedures.

Requirements

• Associate degree or certification in electronics, automotive, automation, manufacturing, or equivalent experience preferred
• At least 3 years of experience with mechanical automation systems or equivalent education or training
• Advanced troubleshooting skills
• Ability to follow electro-mechanical diagrams
• Ability to operate automated systems
• PLC knowledge and troubleshooting experience
• Proficiency performing inspection functions
• Ability to work independently using procedures and manuals
• Ability to meet stated physical, environmental, and safety requirements

Responsibilities

• Inspect automated storage and retrieval systems, robotic vehicles, automated adapters, and lifts
• Adjust, calibrate, repair, replace, and modify system components
• Monitor automated storage and retrieval system flow to maximize throughput
• Troubleshoot robotic vehicle anomalies and stoppages using diagrams and test equipment
• Perform periodic inspections and document repairs, parts, and labor in CMMS
• Communicate production-impacting problems and corrective-maintenance timing
• Recover automated robotic vehicles in restrictive environments
• Perform minor utility work
• Troubleshoot, calibrate, set up, and change tools on robotic arms
• Clean equipment and follow 5S policies
• Perform Cell Operator functions as needed
