About the Role
You will support financing strategy and execution across EMEA. You will incorporate financing requirements into project documentation, lead diligence, manage transaction negotiations, coordinate external counsel and financial institutions, secure approvals and drawdown conditions, and manage lender obligations throughout each arrangement.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of relevant legal experience.
- Experience in project finance, real estate finance, or asset finance.
- Exposure to debt products.
- Ability to manage financing transactions through structuring, diligence, negotiation, and closing.
- Knowledge of AI tools, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Commercial acumen and sound judgment in transactional environments.
Responsibilities
- Support financing strategy and structuring for EMEA projects.
- Incorporate financing terms into customer and project documents.
- Integrate collateral contract requirements into customer contracting workflows.
- Review commercial documentation for financing alignment.
- Manage negotiation of financing transaction documents.
- Lead legal due diligence for EMEA projects.
- Coordinate tax financing diligence with Treasury.
- Oversee external counsel and coordinate with banks and law firms.
- Drive transaction negotiations and execution.
- Oversee transaction authorizations and board approvals.
- Satisfy lender conditions precedent for drawdowns.
- Manage post-closing lender amendments and waivers.
