About the Role

You will support middle-office operations for separately managed accounts. You will reconcile cash and positions, investigate exceptions, monitor portfolio data, maintain controls and audit evidence, coordinate issue resolution, and help automate and improve workflows.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in investment operations, middle-office operations, portfolio operations, fund accounting, or a related financial-services function.
• Knowledge of the trade lifecycle, reconciliation, exception management, and post-trade controls.
• Experience investigating reconciliation breaks and resolving data discrepancies.
• Experience with operational controls, standard operating procedures, maker-checker reviews, and audit-ready evidence.
• Analytical, organisational, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with investment-management platforms and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cash and position reconciliations and resolve breaks and data discrepancies.
• Monitor portfolio positions, cash, transactions, tax lots, pricing, and corporate actions.
• Partner with portfolio management, custodians, technology teams, and operations partners to resolve exceptions.
• Execute operational controls and maintain audit-ready evidence.
• Develop standard operating procedures and support cross-training.
• Manage operational priorities, deadlines, risks, and coverage.
• Identify workflow improvements and support automation, testing, documentation, and control validation.
