About the Role

You will support hazardous-material receiving, inventory records, labels, reconciliations, and quality-assurance work. You will use HMMIS, barcode, and RFID equipment, investigate discrepancies, maintain documentation, and provide routine customer support.

Requirements

  • Associate degree and at least two years of relevant experience, or equivalent education and experience
  • Experience following written procedures and accurately maintaining technical data
  • Ability to use or learn database applications, barcode and RFID equipment, label printers, chemical inventory processes, and quality-assurance requirements
  • Ability to recognize discrepancies, perform basic troubleshooting, document work, and request assistance
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Verify hazardous-material deliveries and create inventory records and labels
  • Maintain inventory records and process updates, transfers, and consumption
  • Perform physical inventories and reconciliations
  • Create and verify barcode and RFID labels
  • Operate and troubleshoot inventory equipment
  • Resolve routine inventory, labeling, ownership, and location issues
  • Maintain records and provide HMMIS customer support
  • Verify inventory details against HMMIS records
  • Investigate discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions
  • Review time-sensitive materials and coordinate follow-up
  • Perform quality checks on inventory data, labels, transactions, and documentation
  • Maintain inventory schedules, reconciliation reports, and required records
  • Follow safety, quality, cybersecurity, records-management, and operational requirements
