About the Role
You will advise product and engineering on privacy, intellectual property, enterprise use cases, and consumer protection. You will lead global privacy compliance, advise on AI governance, negotiate privacy agreements, and build legal processes, playbooks, internal tools, and technology systems.
Requirements
- 8+ years of legal experience in privacy and product counseling
- JD and active membership in a U.S. state bar
- Experience building and running a global privacy program
- GDPR expertise
- CCPA/CPRA expertise
- Cross-border data transfer knowledge
- Product counseling experience
- AI, generative AI, and machine learning knowledge
- Data architecture knowledge
- Vibe coding experience
- Cursor, Claude Code, Replit, Loveable, or Retool experience
Responsibilities
- Counsel product and engineering on privacy, intellectual property, enterprise use cases, and consumer protection
- Lead the global privacy program and privacy-by-design practices
- Advise on AI governance and emerging AI regulations
- Design and maintain contractual and operational frameworks for data flows
- Negotiate privacy provisions and agreements with customers, partners, and vendors
- Build and scale privacy and product legal processes and playbooks
- Build internal tools and procure legal technology
