About the Role
EQT seeks an experienced fund operations or regulatory compliance professional to lead distributor oversight and due diligence, support global marketing registrations, resolve compliance issues, and improve data and automation infrastructure. The role is based in Luxembourg or Warsaw.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional experience in distributor oversight, due diligence, fund marketing registrations, or a related field.
- Experience driving process improvement initiatives involving technology or automation.
- Familiarity with fund structures, distribution channels, and institutional, private wealth, and retail investor types.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
- Comfort working with data management systems, business intelligence tools, or automation platforms.
- English fluency with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with UME or equivalent distributor due diligence platforms is preferred.
- Experience with multi-jurisdictional regulatory compliance, AIFMD, MiFID II, or CSSF regulations is preferred.
- Additional European language proficiency is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead third-party distributor and sub-distributor due diligence assessments and ongoing reviews.
- Collaborate with Sales, Legal, Compliance, and Regulatory teams on distributor classification and sign-offs.
- Own distributor-related compliance issues and escalations while maintaining audit trails.
- Support global marketing registrations across fund vehicles, jurisdictions, and investor types.
- Maintain centralized registries tracking marketing registration status and compliance issues.
- Liaise with local counsel and external advisors on fund registrations.
- Drive process automation and data centralization initiatives with Technology and business teams.
- Develop reporting infrastructure and dashboards for leadership and business partners.
