About the Role
You will develop and execute verification strategies for AI inference ASICs. You will define test plans, build SystemVerilog UVM verification environments, create simulation testbenches and tests, and work toward functional coverage closure. You will debug design issues, support pre- and post-silicon validation, collaborate on early hardware validation, and manage verification schedules, deliverables, and risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of ASIC verification experience
- Expertise in SystemVerilog UVM and simulation tools
- Knowledge of verification planning, testbench development, and coverage-driven verification
- Experience with Cadence, Synopsys, or Mentor Graphics EDA tools
- Experience with debugging tools, waveform analysis, and Python, Perl, or TCL scripting
- Familiarity with AI/ML accelerators, memory subsystems, and high-speed interconnects
- Track record of verifying complex ASIC designs
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute verification strategies for AI inference ASICs
- Define and implement test plans and verification methodologies
- Lead development of SystemVerilog UVM verification environments
- Create and maintain simulation testbenches and directed and constrained-random tests
- Collaborate with design and architecture teams on functional coverage and closure
- Debug and perform root-cause analysis of pre-silicon and post-silicon design issues
- Work with FPGA and emulation teams on early hardware validation
- Manage verification schedules, deliverables, and risk-mitigation plans
