About the Role
You will own the daily operation, availability, stability, and performance of trading applications. You will manage escalated production incidents, coordinate releases, configure systems, and maintain a prioritized improvement backlog. You will support institutional-client integrations, work with technical and delivery partners, ensure compliance, and maintain platform documentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years operating or managing production-grade trading or financial-technology platforms in financial services
- Production incident management and root-cause analysis
- Release and change-management coordination
- API-based integrations and system connectivity, including FIX, REST, and WebSocket
- Trading systems and order-management workflows
- Ticketing and backlog-management tools, preferably Jira
- Financial-market regulatory frameworks such as DORA
Responsibilities
- Own the daily operation of trading applications
- Manage L2 production-incident triage, resolution, root-cause analysis, and engineering escalations
- Plan and coordinate releases, change control, validation, and verification
- Support institutional-client integration, troubleshooting, and conformance testing
- Configure and maintain platform and application settings
- Manage production-issue and improvement tickets and prioritize the backlog
- Improve platform reliability, speed, and scalability
- Support product initiatives and platform upgrades
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and delivery partners
- Ensure adherence to security, regulatory, and compliance requirements including DORA
- Maintain platform documentation and a knowledge base
