About the Role
You will lead direct tax compliance and advisory across APAC entities. You will manage transfer pricing, withholding tax, treaty relief, tax risks, audits, and local tax authority relationships. You will support regional expansion, tax technology, SOX compliance, payroll taxes, equity compensation, and employee mobility matters.
Requirements
- Technical knowledge of corporate tax in APAC jurisdictions
- Knowledge of cross-border tax issues
- Transfer-pricing documentation experience
- Intercompany agreement experience
- Withholding-tax and treaty-analysis experience
- CPA, CA, CTA, or equivalent professional qualification
- Communication skills across time zones
Responsibilities
- Lead APAC direct tax compliance
- Manage external tax advisors and jurisdictional filings
- Support transfer-pricing documentation and intercompany transactions
- Manage withholding tax positions and treaty relief
- Advise on permanent-establishment risks and entity structuring
- Support tax aspects of regional infrastructure expansion
- Partner on VAT, GST, and consumption-tax matters
- Partner on payroll taxes, equity compensation, and employee mobility
- Manage tax authority inquiries and audits
- Contribute to SOX compliance and tax technology implementations
