About the Role
Define and own APAC communications strategy, run creative campaigns across media, social, and events, shape regional narratives, manage reputational risks, build journalist and stakeholder relationships, support executives with media opportunities, and establish the APAC communications operating model.
Requirements
- Experience managing communications across multiple APAC markets
- Relationships with journalists at top-tier publications
- Track record of pitching stories and handling difficult corporate issues
- Understanding of the political, regulatory, economic, and cultural landscape in APAC
- Creative communications campaign skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment
Responsibilities
- Define and own the APAC communications strategy
- Design and run creative, high-engagement campaigns across media, social, and events
- Shape regional narratives and create local stories
- Identify and mitigate reputational risks
- Build relationships with journalists, influencers, customers, industry bodies, and event organisers
- Support executives with media interviews and speaking opportunities
- Partner with sales, marketing, policy, legal, and deployment teams
- Define the APAC communications operating model
- Manage agencies in specific markets
