About the Role
You will own AI products end to end, from concept and discovery through MVP, pilot, production launch, and commercial success. You will define product strategy, validate high-value use cases, maintain the roadmap, build business cases, and lead go-to-market activities. You will work with research, data, engineering, design, sales, marketing, legal, and data protection stakeholders to deliver dependable, compliant AI products. You will set success metrics, oversee model evaluation and monitoring, manage product risks, and guide decisions on model selection, RAG, agentic workflows, guardrails, cost, reliability, and user experience.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience taking products from concept to commercial launch
- Experience building and launching production Generative AI products used by paying clients
- Knowledge of LLM selection, prompt design, retrieval-augmented generation, evaluation, guardrails, cost, latency, and reliability
- Commercial acumen and experience building business cases and taking products to market
- Understanding of machine learning, LLMs, Generative AI, model training, evaluation, and deployment
- Ability to translate technical concepts into product strategy
- Proficiency in data analysis and data science principles
- Experience with Agile methodologies, JIRA, and Confluence
- Knowledge of user experience best practice and design thinking
- Analytical problem-solving and data-driven decision-making
- Communication and stakeholder-influencing skills
- Experience with agentic AI, multi-model architectures, or fine-tuning small language models is desirable
- Understanding of AI governance, the EU AI Act, GDPR, and responsible AI practices is desirable
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, and MLOps concepts is desirable
Responsibilities
- Translate the AI vision into product strategy and a delivery plan
- Identify and prioritise high-value AI use cases
- Develop and maintain the AI product roadmap
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis
- Gather client and stakeholder feedback to validate concepts and adoption
- Build business cases covering market, pricing, revenue potential, and cost to serve
- Own go-to-market planning, positioning, messaging, and pricing
- Track commercial performance and use it to guide roadmap decisions
- Drive products from discovery and prototype through production launch
- Translate use cases into product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Champion Agile delivery through iterative releases
- Guide model selection, prompt engineering, RAG, agentic workflows, evaluation, and guardrails
- Define and track business and model-quality success metrics
- Establish model evaluation, monitoring, and feedback processes
- Ensure alignment with privacy, regulatory, ethical, and responsible AI expectations
- Support sales and client success with positioning, demonstrations, training, and objection handling
