About the Role

Own AI implementation across Upvest by identifying high-impact opportunities, integrating Claude and other LLMs with internal systems through MCP, building pragmatic automations with tools such as n8n, and advising colleagues on AI adoption while navigating privacy, compliance, and audit requirements.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience shipping AI agents and end-to-end automations with tools such as n8n
  • Experience building or working with MCP servers
  • Experience upskilling non-technical teams on AI tooling and driving adoption
  • Ability to define ROI, iterate, and ship pragmatically
  • Ability to connect technical work to business outcomes
  • Ability to run discovery sessions and present to senior non-technical audiences
  • Experience in fintech or a closely adjacent regulated industry
  • 5+ years of experience in a scale-up in a solutions engineering, technical consulting, AI product engineering, or similar role
  • Based in Berlin
  • Fluent English required; German is a plus

  • Identify where AI creates the most leverage across the business
  • Select and integrate AI tooling
  • Ship AI solutions used by teams
  • Connect AI tools to internal systems via MCP
  • Integrate Claude and other LLMs with internal tools, APIs, and data sources
  • Build lightweight integrations and expand connectivity
  • Identify high-impact automation opportunities
  • Build end-to-end workflows with tools such as n8n
  • Choose simple automations over complex agents when appropriate
  • Consult with colleagues across engineering, operations, and client-facing teams
  • Run discovery sessions
  • Write internal playbooks
  • Coach colleagues on prompt engineering and AI tooling
  • Navigate data privacy, compliance, and audit requirements
