About the Role
This field-based role manages product rollouts and agent networks across Sierra Leone. The lead supervises agent recruitment and training, monitors liquidity and performance, manages risk and compliance, closes underperforming agents, coordinates branding, and serves as the primary contact for agency networks.
Requirements
- Fluent in English and Krio with a good command of the local language
- At least 2 years of relevant experience managing an agent network in Sierra Leone
- At least 1 year of experience managing field-based teams
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or an equivalent
- Work authorization in Sierra Leone
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Comfort navigating Excel and onboarding new tools
- Clear, proactive communication and strong organizational ability
Responsibilities
- Manage agent recruitment by leading a team of agent openers who recruit and train agents within the territory
- Ensure agent quality and compliance with legal and policy requirements
- Train the agent network on applications, contracts, rebalancing options, and fraud management
- Collaborate with the BTL team to maintain a well-branded and equipped agent network
- Monitor cash and float availability at agent locations with the agent liquidity team
- Conduct routine agent visits to assess performance and report emerging issues
- Identify and close underperforming agents and recover Wave items and equipment
- Serve as the primary contact for agency networks acquiring Wave products
- Champion excellent customer service among distributors and agents
