About the Role

You will deputize the Agent Liquidity Lead for your region and design and deploy data-driven liquidity strategies to anticipate demand and optimize cash flow. You will lead, train, and supervise Premium Cash Officers and Assistants, monitor liquidity status, and maintain relationships with banking partners. You will prepare weekly and monthly performance reports, conduct field research and investigations, detect and report risks like theft, and prioritize the biggest operational problems blocking performance. You will support your team to complete jobs through timely communication and on-the-ground assistance, and travel regularly to field locations as required.

Requirements

  • Work authorization in Mali
  • 2+ years of experience as a liquidity manager
  • Previous experience in team management, preferably in cash movements or cash in transit
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time within Mali
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or a comparable field
  • Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets

Responsibilities

  • Structure and deploy regional liquidity strategies
  • Lead and build a skilled field team
  • Develop materials for a structured liquidity department
  • Monitor nationwide and regional liquidity status
  • Develop and maintain relationships with bank partners
  • Identify priority areas and design liquidity solutions
  • Coordinate implementation of strategy and achieve OKRs
  • Supervise Premium Cash Officers and Premium Cash Assistants
  • Recruit and onboard Premium Cash Officers and Assistants with training
  • Monitor team daily to detect wrongdoing or theft and report risks
  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports
  • Conduct field research and investigations
  • Provide operational support and timely communication to the team
  • Prioritize and resolve major blockers to unit performance
