About the Role
You will be the primary point of contact for billing and collections inquiries from clients and internal teams, working closely with the Billing & Collections Manager. You'll manage the shared email queue, keeping response times within a 24-hour SLA and escalating issues when needed. You will own the vendor onboarding process for AlphaSense and its clients, validating vendor records and required documentation, and ensuring accurate vendor creation across multiple procurement systems. You'll review contracts and sales order data, audit invoices for accuracy, and resolve billing issues directly with clients while knowing when to escalate. You will maintain accounts receivable records, perform account reconciliations, generate invoices and statements, and support the wider finance team during monthly close and other ad hoc requests. This role requires you to work NY or EST shift hours (2pm to 11pm IST), and immediate joiners are preferred.
Requirements
- BCOM / MCOM / BBA / MBA in Finance preferred
- 1+ years of experience in O2C collections, revenue recognition and reconciliation, and email queue or case management
- Experience with Salesforce and NetSuite preferred

- Ability to work extended hours during peak business periods
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Drive

Responsibilities
- Manage the combined Billing & Collections email queue within a 24-hour SLA
- Act as the primary point of contact for new email threads and route them appropriately
- Complete banking forms and provide financial documentation such as W-9s and tax certificates
- Resubmit invoices through the billing system or vendor portal when billing information changes
- Respond to urgent escalation requests and flag them to the appropriate internal party
- Ensure all open cases are managed and actioned in a timely manner
- Own the vendor onboarding process for AlphaSense and its clients
- Review, validate, and maintain vendor records, legal names, tax IDs, addresses, and contact information
- Provide documents such as W-9, 10F forms, NO PE certificates, banking information, COI, and TRC
- Ensure accurate vendor creation in procurement systems such as SAP, Oracle, Ariba, Coupa, Tungsten, Ramp, and Wise
- Perform bank verification and TIN validation
- Review contracts and SFDC data and audit sales orders and invoices within the billing system
- Resolve simple billing issues without escalation and flag cases for internal audit when needed
- Maintain accounts receivable records and ensure aging, credits, and collections are up to date
- Perform account reconciliations with banks and payment gateways
- Maintain the billing system and generate invoices and account statements as needed
- Monitor and collect the accounts receivable email queue and communicate with customers on past-due accounts
- Support other accounting and finance team members with general financial management and analysis
- Ensure accurate and timely invoicing by resolving client invoicing issues
- Interface with sales and customer delivery teams
- Support the finance team during monthly close and ad hoc requests
