About the Role

You will be assigned to a UTA department and act as the go-to person for all accounting matters related to that department. You will work closely with agents and assistants to capture accurate and timely booking information within a GAAP-compliant environment. Day to day, you will enter new client bookings, review and update existing bookings to reflect changes in performance dates, meet regularly with agents and assistants, and generate reports that help agents forecast and collect payments. You will also help establish and monitor quality metrics and continually look for ways to improve the client booking process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of any accounting experience preferred
  • Entertainment experience preferred
  • Prior experience in a customer service focused role preferred
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Excel and Outlook
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • General understanding of fundamental accounting principles
  • Experience with financial & enterprise systems such as NetSuite

Responsibilities

  • Meet with assigned agents regularly and their assistants weekly to ensure complete and accurate booking data and reports
  • Ensure client payments are processed quickly and accurately and in compliance with legal and tax requirements
  • Liaise with clients and agents directly on invoices, statements, debits, tax matters, and account questions
  • Enter and maintain client bookings and review data for accuracy and completeness considering revenue recognition standards
  • Coordinate with counterparts at other companies to complete booking details
  • Provide regular reporting to agents to facilitate forecasting, collections, and insights into client performance
  • Coordinate with the Cash Management team to ensure payments are applied to the correct booking
  • Provide exceptional customer service to agents and other stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to improve the client booking process
  • Build long-term relationships based on trust and confidentiality
  • Assist with ad hoc requests
