About the Role
You will support month-end accounting activities, reconciliations, internal controls, audit readiness, and financial systems. You will administer and troubleshoot NetSuite and SAP Concur, document processes, test system changes, support users, and help apply approved AI-enabled finance tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Approximately 3–7 years of experience in accounting, financial systems, finance operations, public accounting, or related areas
- Understanding of accounting fundamentals, including journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial-statement impact
- Hands-on NetSuite experience
- Excel skills
- Ability to organize, analyze, and explain financial information
- Public accounting experience is strongly preferred
- Experience with NetSuite reporting, saved searches, workflows, data imports, permissions, or release testing is a plus
- Experience with SAP Concur Expense or Travel is a plus
- Knowledge of NSPB, Smart View, or another financial planning and reporting platform is a plus
- Experience with AI-enabled tools, automation, ERP, or finance-transformation projects is a plus
- Experience with internal controls, SOC reports, SOX, public-company readiness, or audit support is a plus
Responsibilities
- Prepare and support journal entries, account reconciliations, intercompany activity, and month-end close activities
- Support accounting for prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accruals, and assigned balance-sheet and income-statement accounts
- Maintain organized support for accounting entries, reconciliations, close checklists, audits, and internal reviews
- Research reconciling items and accounting questions and resolve underlying issues
- Serve as a point of contact for NetSuite and SAP Concur questions
- Support NetSuite administration, reporting, saved searches, workflows, user access, testing, data validation, and troubleshooting
- Support SAP Concur Expense and Travel administration, testing, reporting, and process improvements
- Test system enhancements, releases, integrations, and finance transformation initiatives
- Maintain process documentation, user guidance, system records, and internal-control support
- Evaluate approved AI-enabled finance tools and NetSuite AI capabilities
- Collaborate on ad hoc requests and special projects
