About the Role
You will build and maintain the data models, orchestration pipelines, dashboards, and data applications that support accounting analytics. You will translate business questions into metrics and recommendations, support reporting and reconciliations, improve data quality, and identify opportunities for AI-powered accounting automation.
Requirements
- Proficiency in SQL and Python or another object-oriented programming language
- Experience with data modeling and orchestration tools such as dbt and Airflow
- Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Looker, Tableau, Hex, or Streamlit
- Experience designing self-service analytics for non-technical stakeholders
- Experience partnering with Finance or Accounting teams
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain data models and orchestration pipelines
- Develop dashboards, visualizations, and data applications
- Translate business questions into metrics, tools, and recommendations
- Build analytics for financial reporting, close processes, reconciliations, and scenario analysis
- Define AI-powered accounting automation opportunities
- Champion data quality, testing, and documentation
