About the Role
You will manage day-to-day bookkeeping, invoice approvals, intercompany balances, accounts payable, supplier communications, payments, cash planning, financial records, VAT returns, quarterly reports, and statistical reports. You will also improve ERP processes and support ad-hoc projects.
Requirements
- At least 3–5 years of experience in accounting
- Native or near-native German language is an advantage
- Previous experience using ERP systems
- Business Central knowledge is an advantage
- Good knowledge of numbers and figures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Well-organized and reliable
- Excellent English skills
- Good knowledge of Excel
- Completed apprenticeship
Responsibilities
- Prepare day-to-day bookkeeping in the ERP system
- Manage the approval flow for invoices through the procurement system
- Check intercompany balances
- Ensure agreements are in place before processing payments
- Ensure the accuracy of accounts payable and communicate with suppliers
- Propose and initiate ERP improvements
- Monitor supplier costs and report variances
- Execute payments according to Group payment dates
- File bills, bank statements, receipts, and agreements
- Build monthly cash plans and ensure adherence
- Update supplier payment reports with cost classifications
- Prepare monthly VAT returns and quarterly reports
- Prepare and file statistical reports
- Support ad-hoc projects
