About the Role
You will investigate potential scams and fraud involving products, assess complex and urgent cases, distinguish abuse from legitimate use, document defensible findings, recommend proportionate responses, and communicate findings and uncertainty to leadership and cross-functional partners.
Requirements
- Knowledge of online scams and financial fraud
- Technical and analytical skills
- Ability to make judgments from incomplete or conflicting evidence
- At least five years of experience investigating online scams, financial fraud, cybercrime, or related online abuse
- At least two years of experience conducting applied abuse research or improving investigative practices
- Report writing for technical and nontechnical audiences
- Knowledge of AI product misuse
Responsibilities
- Investigate potential scams and fraud involving products and document defensible findings
- Assess urgent and ambiguous cases and distinguish substantiated abuse from legitimate use
- Recommend proportionate responses to abuse
- Communicate findings, uncertainty, and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional partners
- Improve responses to emerging scams and fraud
