About the Role
You will design and build high-performance trading systems for market-data ingestion, order routing, and execution. You will optimize application, operating-system, network, and hardware layers to minimize latency, maximize throughput, and deliver deterministic performance. You will provide solutions across OTC, market-making, proprietary, and systematic trading workflows.
Requirements
- Excellent core Java skills.
- Experience optimizing Java applications and garbage collection.
- Knowledge of concurrency and multithreaded programming.
- Experience developing low-latency pricing and trading systems.
- Knowledge of low-latency messaging, such as Aeron and 29West.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP, UDP, multicast, routing, switching, and congestion control.
- Experience with kernel-bypass technologies, such as DPDK, Solarflare/OpenOnload, and RDMA.
- Familiarity with Linux scheduling, memory management, and performance tuning.
Responsibilities
- Build cross-cutting trading-system solutions for OTC, market-making, proprietary, and systematic trading.
- Design and build high-performance systems for market-data ingestion, order routing, and execution.
- Optimize application, operating-system, network, and hardware layers for latency, throughput, and deterministic performance.
- Own issues through resolution.
- Champion and use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, output quality, team performance, and business outcomes.
