About the Role
Build and evolve robust server-side JVM systems for traders and external counterparties. Collaborate with trading and product teams, resolve production issues, and optimize performance, concurrency, messaging, fault tolerance, and availability.
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant development experience
- Excellent core Java skills
- Exceptional knowledge of concurrency, multithreaded programming, and JVM performance
- Knowledge of high-touch trading workflows including OTC markets, block trades, and voice-assisted trading
- Knowledge of Order Management Systems
- Experience leading a team preferred
- Experience in performance-sensitive environments such as eFX preferred
- Experience with fault-tolerant, high-availability distributed computing preferred
- Knowledge of low-latency messaging such as Aeron or 29West preferred
- Code optimization and profiling capabilities preferred
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS preferred
- Knowledge of crypto preferred
