About the Role
You will set engineering strategy and lead delivery across fraud, financial-crime, and ongoing-monitoring platforms. You will lead multidisciplinary engineering teams, own shared decision platforms and the end-to-end model lifecycle, deploy governed agentic AI, and improve fraud, automation, and monitoring-cost outcomes.
Requirements
- Experience leading engineering organisations in fraud, financial crime, risk, or real-time decisioning
- Track record of improving fraud detection, mitigation, unit economics, and workflow automation through platform investment
- Experience taking machine learning into production at scale and owning live model performance
- Experience in a regulated environment with risk, compliance, and regulators
- Judgement in organisation design, delivery, platform strategy, data architecture, and technical quality
- Ability to lead distributed teams across markets and align functions behind a roadmap and operating model
Responsibilities
- Set engineering strategy for fraud, financial-crime, and ongoing-monitoring platforms
- Lead backend, frontend, data science, machine learning engineering, and analytics engineering
- Lead managers and senior engineers and build leadership capability
- Own the Decision Engine and Decision Intelligence Platform
- Own the model lifecycle from development through production monitoring
- Scale agentic AI in regulated workflows under the governance framework
- Deliver lower fraud losses, higher automated alert throughput, and lower monitoring cost per member
- Align operations, risk, compliance, payments, acquiring engineering, KYX, AI platforms, and data science behind one roadmap
- Build once, deploy globally, and isolate market-specific logic
