About the Role

You will create video content from initial concepts through filming and final edits. You will develop scripts, questions, and shot lists; film interviews, product launches, customers, and events; and manage camera, lighting, and audio. You will edit footage, screen recordings, and graphics into long-form videos and social clips, manage production assets and schedules, and use feedback and performance data to improve future work.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional filming and editing experience or an equivalent exceptional portfolio
• Portfolio of work personally shot and edited
• Ability to independently run shoots including camera operation lighting and clean audio capture
• Strong editing skills in Premiere Pro DaVinci Resolve Final Cut Pro or comparable professional tools
• Strong judgment in story pacing composition and sound
• Ability to learn unfamiliar technical topics and create clear engaging videos
• Organization communication project management and feedback incorporation skills
• Based in the San Francisco Bay Area or willing to relocate
• Availability to work and film in person

Responsibilities

• Develop video concepts scripts interview questions and shot lists
• Film founders engineers customers product launches and events
• Manage camera lighting and audio during shoots
• Direct interviews
• Edit raw footage through final delivery including sound color correction captions music and motion graphics
• Combine live footage screen recordings and graphics to explain software
• Create long-form videos and short clips for social channels
• Manage production schedules feedback footage backups and reusable assets
• Use audience feedback and performance data to improve videos
