About the Role
You will manage index commodity and synthetic equity derivative portfolios, including exchange-traded funds and index portfolios. You will manage exposure, cash, and liquidity; apply quantitative techniques to portfolio construction and risk budgeting; launch portfolios; review performance; and communicate investment strategy and results to clients and sales teams.
Requirements
- Knowledge of financial markets, commodities, equities, and the indexing ecosystem
- 5+ years of investment industry or portfolio management experience
- Knowledge of structured derivative strategies using options, futures, or OTC derivatives
- Technical aptitude for portfolio management, trading, and data analytics solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Organizational and project management skills
- Written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Manage index commodity and synthetic equity derivative-based portfolios
- Manage exposure, cash, and liquidity in line with investment guidelines
- Apply quantitative techniques and market knowledge to portfolio construction and risk budgeting
- Launch new portfolios and update existing portfolios
- Build the next-generation investment platform
- Perform risk management, performance review, and attribution
- Respond to client queries and communicate investment strategy and performance results
- Participate in client reviews and new business pitches
