About the Role
You will execute orders from portfolio managers, systematic strategies, and treasury at the best achievable price while minimising market impact and controlling risk. You will trade crypto and traditional assets, manage multi-leg trades, monitor automated bots, analyse execution quality, respond to incidents, and help improve execution systems.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on execution or trading experience at a hedge fund, prop firm, or market maker.
- Live crypto trading experience on centralised exchanges, including perpetual futures.
- Experience trading at least one traditional asset class: equities, ETFs, or futures.
- Understanding of market microstructure, order books, queue position, fees, funding rates, and market impact.
- Risk discipline and composure in fast markets and outside normal hours.
- Practical Python and SQL skills for fill analysis and data checks.
- Clear communication with portfolio managers, quants, developers, and operations.
Responsibilities
- Execute orders across crypto spot, perpetuals, futures, equities, and ETFs.
- Run multi-leg and cross-asset trades while minimising residual risk.
- Monitor automated trading and hedging bots and intervene when needed.
- Measure and report execution quality using transaction cost analysis.
- Maintain knowledge of venue fees, liquidity programmes, funding mechanics, and rule changes.
- Improve execution algorithms, smart order routing, and monitoring tools with quants and developers.
- Handle trading incidents including venue outages, connectivity loss, and volatility.
