About the Role
Own Ripple's engineering platform for fiat payment infrastructure across control, execution, and network layers. Lead an AI-native engineering organization, establish reusable platform interfaces, maintain operational visibility, and expand the fiat network through banking partnerships, licensing, and potential acquisitions.
Requirements
- Deep experience operating fiat payment infrastructure across multiple corridors and jurisdictions.
- Strong understanding of ACH, SWIFT, Faster Payments, SEPA, and regional payment rails.
- Experience operating live financial networks with strong instincts around partner quality and network expansion.
- Proven experience building unified shared infrastructure platforms across engineering teams.
- Strong architectural judgment in extracting reusable platform layers from complex systems.
- Operator mindset with production experience and system-level diagnostic skills.
- Interest in banking relationships, licensing strategy, and financial network expansion.
- Ability to engage credibly with banking partners, regulators, and commercial counterparties.
- Track record of building trust across engineering, product, operations, and external counterparties.
Responsibilities
- Own the full fiat infrastructure domain across control plane, execution plane, and network layer.
- Define clean, reusable interfaces for every product team.
- Maintain real-time corridor health, prefunding visibility, and proactive issue detection.
- Build the engineering organization as an AI-native operation using agentic development practices.
- Expand Ripple's fiat network through banking partnerships, licensing, and potential acquisitions.
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Business Development on licensing strategies and banking partnerships.
- Partner across Payments, Custody, Stablecoin, and Markets as a shared platform owner.
