About the Role

You will derive electrical requirements and maintain traceability to test evidence. You will own electrical DVP&R activities, conduct functional, performance, EMC/EMI, stress, and robustness testing, and build test fixtures. You will investigate failures, coordinate certification testing, maintain compliance documentation, and improve verification methods, lab capabilities, and toolchains.

Requirements

• 5+ years in electrical V&V, preferably in automotive or heavy vehicles
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering
• Automotive DV/PV process knowledge
• PPAP knowledge
• APQP knowledge
• Experience with automotive OEMs and Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers
• Knowledge of automotive environmental and EMC standards
• AEC standards knowledge
• Experience defining environmental and EMC requirements for vehicles
• Ability to adapt V&V processes for OEMs

Responsibilities

• Derive electrical requirements and maintain traceability to test evidence
• Own electrical DVP&R planning and execution
• Conduct functional, performance, EMC/EMI, stress, and robustness testing
• Build and maintain custom test fixtures
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and drive corrective actions
• Integrate electrical verification and design-for-test into programs
• Document and present test results and recommendations
• Manage compliance testing and certification
• Coordinate pre-compliance and certification testing with external laboratories
• Maintain test reports, compliance logs, and certification documentation
• Develop electrical verification methodology, lab capability, and toolchains
• Assess OEM DV/PV processes and advise leadership
