About the Role
You will operate fixed-wing and multirotor unmanned aircraft, serve as a safety pilot, and support simulation, ground, and live-flight testing. You will operate ground control stations, inspect and maintain equipment, troubleshoot aircraft systems, manage flight documentation, support demonstrations, and comply with Ukrainian airspace and UAS requirements.
Requirements
- 3+ years of unmanned aircraft operating experience
- Experience operating fixed-wing and multirotor UAS platforms
- Experience with Group 1 and Group 2 UAS operations
- Knowledge of flight safety and emergency recovery procedures
- Experience with flight tests, demonstrations, or field exercises
- Familiarity with Ground Control Stations, telemetry, radios, and mission support equipment
- Experience with SIL, HIL, VIL, or related test environments
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair aircraft and support equipment
- Familiarity with Ukrainian UAS airspace requirements and procedures
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel within Ukraine
- Ability to obtain and maintain required Ukrainian remote-pilot or UAS certifications
Responsibilities
- Operate fixed-wing and multirotor unmanned aircraft systems
- Serve as a safety pilot and recover aircraft manually when required
- Support simulation, ground, and live-flight test activities
- Operate Ground Control Stations and mission systems
- Perform pre-flight setup, inspections, launch, recovery, and post-flight activities
- Configure, transport, and maintain aircraft and support equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair aircraft systems and field equipment
- Transport equipment and personnel to operational sites
- Maintain checklists, maintenance logs, and flight documentation
- Support demonstrations and customer flight operations
- Comply with Ukrainian airspace requirements and UAS regulations
