About the Role
Oversee the full lifecycle of trust accounts, including client onboarding, KYC/AML reviews, risk assessments, account acceptance, trust distributions, document reviews, client servicing, and periodic compliance reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree; advanced degree or certification preferred.
- 4+ years of client-facing experience, including 1+ years in trust administration, wealth management, or financial services.
- Experience conducting KYC reviews and onboarding high-net-worth or institutional clients.
- Working knowledge of BSA/AML, CIP, FATF guidance, and trust acceptance principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency with spreadsheets, document review tools, and onboarding platforms such as Persona.
- Ability to manage multiple client relationships with urgency, care, and accountability.
- Comfort working in a digital-first, fast-paced environment with evolving regulatory expectations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full lifecycle of trust accounts under administration, from onboarding through termination.
- Perform client onboarding reviews (KYC), including identity and document verification, adverse media and sanctions screening, and risk-based assessments.
- Contribute to the account acceptance process, ensuring new clients meet internal and regulatory standards before opening.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, and Risk teams on AML, BSA, trust policies, and account maintenance.
- Maintain strong client relationships through responsive service and proactive support.
- Participate in trust distributions, trust document reviews, and discretionary and directed account instructions.
- Perform annual and periodic trust account reviews for compliance, documentation accuracy, and service consistency.
- Maintain current knowledge of applicable laws, trust regulations, and BitGo products and services.
- Escalate unusual account activity, complex asset types, and document deficiencies for resolution.
