About the Role
You will investigate suspicious activity involving cryptocurrency transactions brokerage accounts and fiat movement. You will analyze blockchain activity review customer behavior prepare regulatory reports manage cases from alert to closure and identify trends or control improvements.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of AML investigation experience in a broker dealer cryptocurrency firm fintech company or financial institution
- Experience drafting Suspicious Activity Reports
- Hands-on experience analyzing cryptocurrency transactions
- Experience using blockchain analytics platforms such as Chainalysis or TRM
- Experience with both fiat and cryptocurrency products
- Knowledge of BSA and AML regulatory requirements
- Ability to analyze large data sets document findings and make risk-based decisions
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Finance Economics or a related field or equivalent experience
- Chainalysis or TRM course certification preferred
- ACAMS or Certified Fraud Examiner certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Investigate suspicious activity across cryptocurrency products brokerage accounts and fiat transactions
- Analyze blockchain transactions using Chainalysis TRM or similar platforms
- Review customer activity across multiple financial products to assess risk
- Draft Suspicious Activity Reports that meet regulatory standards
- Manage investigations from alert review through evidence gathering decisioning documentation and closure
- Identify trends control gaps and tooling improvements
