About the Role
You will support transmission-engineering work by designing high-voltage transmission-line facilities, participating in field visits, verifying topography and obstacles, working with construction crews, and updating discrepancies among prints, schematics, databases, and system models. You may also complete assignments determined by your supervisor.
Requirements
- Pursue a four-year degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering
- Sophomore status or higher preferred
- Experience with PLS-CADD or SolidWorks preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, preferred
Responsibilities
- Design high-voltage transmission-line facilities
- Participate in field visits to verify topography and identify obstacles
- Meet with construction crews to address engineering concerns and solicit design feedback
- Update discrepancies among prints, schematics, databases, and system models
- Complete additional assignments determined by your supervisor
