About the Role
You will define electrical and electronic architecture for an aircraft autonomy system, integrate and verify avionics subsystems, prepare design and certification documentation, and guide installation technicians. You may travel domestically and internationally to support aircraft and system integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of systems-level electrical systems and integration design experience in aviation or aerospace
- Experience integrating and debugging COTS or MOTS modules, custom circuits, software, sensors, and human-machine interfaces
- Knowledge of ARINC 429, RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485
- Experience with electrical test equipment, schematics, wiring diagrams, wire harness design, and connector sourcing
- Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Responsibilities
- Define electrical and electronic architecture for aircraft autonomy systems
- Integrate and verify COTS and MOTS electronic subsystems
- Guide laboratory and aircraft installation technicians
- Prepare electrical drawings, test plans, reports, and certification documents
- Travel up to 50% to support aircraft and system integration
