About the Role
You will prepare, inspect, assemble, maintain, and repair delivery robots. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software issues; test new functionality with engineers; support fleet deployments; record performance data; and help improve robot hardware.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in robotics, electronics, bike shops, or similar environments
- 2+ years of technical experience in diagnostics, repair, or maintenance
- Familiarity with mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation
- Ability to lift 40 lbs
- Associate degree or equivalent technical experience in robotics or engineering
- Experience with semi-autonomous robotic systems
- Skill with diagnostic tools and performance tracking
- Comfort using Excel or Google Sheets for reporting
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Prepare and inspect robots for each shift
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Test new functionalities with engineers
- Deploy and support robot fleets
- Conduct routine inspections and log performance data
- Assemble, maintain, and repair robot hardware
- Track recurring issues and contribute to hardware improvements
- Ensure robots meet safety and operational standards before deployment
