About the Role
You will source and evaluate early-stage and liquid venture opportunities at the intersection of blockchain, Web3, AI, and gaming. You will perform technical reviews of architectures and tokenomics, conduct thorough due diligence, draft investment recommendations, and engage communities and events to build deal flow. You will support portfolio companies post-investment and track portfolio performance while coordinating across global stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related technical field
- Up to five years of professional experience in product management, venture capital, business development, strategy consulting, or technical sales/marketing
- Strong understanding of blockchain, decentralized protocols, and tokenomics
- Familiarity with AI, gaming, and virtual or augmented reality technologies
- Exceptional ability to analyze and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with multinational companies or across international markets
- Demonstrated experience building relationships within technical and Web3 communities
- Experience maintaining deal pipelines using CRM tools
Responsibilities
- Research industry trends and identify promising technologies
- Formulate high-conviction investment theses
- Source global investment opportunities and maintain a robust deal pipeline
- Engage in community-building and marketing activities to source deals
- Network at industry events to build relationships with founders and ecosystem leaders
- Evaluate technical architectures, tokenomics, and scalability of targets
- Conduct thorough due diligence including technical audits and protocol reviews
- Draft investment recommendations and thesis-driven fundamental analysis
- Collaborate with investment team to drive end-to-end deal execution
- Manage cross-functional resources across global time zones
- Prepare investment valuation analyses and presentations for the investment committee
- Partner with portfolio companies post-investment to support growth
- Monitor portfolio performance and provide detailed updates to management
- Contribute thought leadership in AI Web3 and blockchain communities
