About the Role
You will source and evaluate early-stage and liquid venture opportunities at the intersection of blockchain, Web3, AI, and gaming. You will perform technical reviews of architectures and tokenomics, conduct thorough due diligence, draft investment recommendations, and engage communities and events to build deal flow. You will support portfolio companies post-investment and track portfolio performance while coordinating across global stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related technical field
- Up to five years of professional experience in product management, venture capital, business development, strategy consulting, or technical sales/marketing
- Strong understanding of blockchain, decentralized protocols, and tokenomics
- Experience with AI, gaming, metaverse, or virtual/augmented reality preferred
- Exceptional ability to analyze and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working across international markets
- Demonstrated experience building relationships within technical and Web3 communities
Responsibilities
- Research industry trends and identify promising technologies
- Formulate high-conviction investment theses in emerging technology sectors
- Source and maintain a global deal pipeline using CRM tools
- Evaluate technical architectures, tokenomics, and scalability of potential investments
- Conduct technical due diligence, protocol reviews, and market analysis
- Draft thesis-driven investment recommendations and valuation analyses
- Execute end-to-end deal execution and collaborate with the investment team
- Manage cross-functional resources across time zones
- Partner with portfolio companies to support technical and operational growth
- Monitor portfolio performance and provide updates to management
- Engage and build relationships within Web3, AI, and gaming communities
- Network at industry events to source deals and partnerships
