About the Role
You will build and operate critical infrastructure across compute storage messaging and observability. You will drive architectural improvements partner with product teams build developer tooling support AI infrastructure patterns and lead reliability and scalability initiatives. You will also participate in on call rotations and eliminate root causes from incidents.
Requirements
- 3+ years of software engineering management experience shipping architectures for critical systems
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and production coding ability
- Hands on experience with distributed systems at production scale
- Experience with a major cloud provider preferably AWS
- Familiarity with SLOs error budgets alerting and dashboards
- Experience leading technical projects end to end across multiple teams
- Comfort using AI tooling and coding agents in daily engineering work
- Experience with cellular or multi tenant architecture patterns is a bonus
- Experience with workflow orchestration systems such as Temporal is a bonus
- Experience with developer experience or internal platform tooling is a bonus
- Experience in fintech payments or regulated industries is a bonus
Responsibilities
- Build and operate critical infrastructure across compute storage messaging and observability systems
- Drive architectural changes that improve reliability and scalability
- Partner with product teams during architecture and design phases
- Support the transition to cellular architecture
- Develop reusable AI infrastructure patterns
- Build developer tooling and self service infrastructure
- Participate in the on call rotation
- Lead company wide reliability and scalability initiatives
