About the Role
You will lead the CBRN-E and advanced-weapons investigative program. You will manage investigators, personally lead high-severity cases, improve threat-specific detection, set analytic standards, make escalation decisions, engage external stakeholders, forecast AI-enabled threats, and brief government partners.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in biosecurity, chemical defense, weapons non-proliferation, dual-use research of concern, or related CBRN-E threat domains
- Experience leading investigative or analytic teams and building programs
- Experience with threat-actor profiling, threat-intelligence analysis frameworks, and collection frameworks
- Hands-on experience with large language models and CBRN-E misuse risks
- Stakeholder management skills across research, policy, legal, government, and external partners
- Ability to present analytical work to technical and non-technical audiences
Responsibilities
- Own strategy, priorities, and outcomes for the CBRN-E and Advanced Weapons mission area
- Hire, manage, and develop CBRN-E investigators
- Lead investigations into misuse involving CBRN-E and advanced weapons
- Develop CBRN-specific detection signals and methodologies
- Set analytic standards for cross-platform threat analysis
- Lead escalation and enforcement decisions for severe misuse
- Engage government agencies, scientific organizations, and biosecurity and chemical-security communities
- Forecast AI-enabled CBRN-E threats to inform safety-by-design and capability evaluation
- Brief government partners on AI-enabled threats
