About the Role
You will design and build custom test rigs, jigs, and fixtures for mechanical and mechatronic components. You will execute structural, safety, durability, reliability, and thermal-performance tests. You will develop Python scripts to automate procedures, control test hardware, and log data. You will analyze failures and performance bottlenecks, provide engineering feedback, and document repeatable test procedures and findings.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Robotics, or a related technical field
- 3+ years of non-internship professional experience in hardware testing, validation, or a related hands-on engineering role
- Experience designing and building test setups for mechanical or electromechanical systems
- Python scripting proficiency for test automation, device control, or data analysis
- Ability to work independently in a workshop using hand and power tools safely
- Experience developing and executing test plans and reporting results
Responsibilities
